Puppini Sisters release first single
The fabulously camp Puppini Sisters release their single Wuthering Heights today. Here at PinkNews we are totally in love with their quirky 1940's style, rock chick attitude and closer than Tom and Katie harmonies.
Their update of the Kate Bush classic is witty and winkingly knowing. Arranged by band member Marcella, and owing something to the Supremes, the track is produced by Benoit Charest, the composer of Belle Ville Rendezvous. The track bubbles along like musical champagne - guaranteed to make you smile.
B track Mr Sandman makes you want to pull on a gingham apron and bake heart shaped biscuits. It's cookie cutter cool.
Check out Universal jazz's most expensive signing. Worth the money? We think so.
