Council boss fined for gay sex in toilets

A council manager in charge of cracking down on anti social behaviour was fined £300 yesterday for soliciting gay sex in a public toilet.

Ian McGarry, 33, of East Ayrshire Council, was caught by police last December in the area known for cottaging.

Another man, Andrew Hind, 20, was fined the same amount.

Mr McGarry may also be sacked from his job.

An East Ayrshire Council spokesman told the Daily Record, "The council are aware of the situation and will be reviewing matters."
