It`s an attested fact that many Gay clergy are wonderful pastoral visitors and outstanding preachers, too.On what basis should they be hounded and vilified when the fruits of their ministry are all-too visible.(By their fruits you shall know them,Jesus said)Yet tney are made to feel inferior beings, devoid of any true spirituality.Why can`t those of us (like myself) who are wonderfully and happily Gay (in my case since I was 12) be allowed to get on with our work in the church we love? The hate isn`t on our side!

Sad, sad, sad. Sign of the times, the churches being in distress. Pretty coincidental that the old ways and beliefs change and are pushed aside toward the end of days. Or maybe not.

Jesus has rightly said " you see but can't percieve, you hear but can't understand. How such things could take place in the church. How a woman of less moral can lead the church. The church leader need to realised re elect.

The modern day Pharisees have lost another battle. The love of Christ has won again.If these religious biots would focus a tiny fraction of their energy toward solving the real problems of the planet — war, hunger, illiteracy, refugees — the world would be a much better place. Of course, it is much easier to persecute gay Christians than to do something truly meaningful and positive.

I am perplexed by those who would cite Biblical sources to attack gays yet seemingly ignore that Christ said that remarriage after divorce is commiting adultery. Is it not hypocrical to refrain from attacking those who are divorced and remarried and yet launch an all out campaign against those who are gay? While I am sure there are many who truly believe in their position against gays is soundly founded in religious belief, I also believe that this makes an easier stand for those who simply hate homosexuals

The first female leader of the US Episcopal Church has defended homosexuality after announcing her belief that it is not a sin.Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori, 52, elected this week as the head of the 2.3 million member church, told reporters that she felt homosexuals were created by God to love people of the same sex.The Bishop of Nevada told CNN, “I believe that God creates us with different gifts. Each one of us comes into this world with a different collection of things that challenge us and things that give us joy and allow us to bless the world around us."Some people come into this world with affections ordered toward other people of the same gender and some people come into this world with affections directed at people of the other gender."She defended her view claiming the Bible’s passages relating to homosexuality are written in a different historical context, "The Bible has a great deal to teach us about how to live as human beings. The Bible does not have so much to teach us about what sorts of food to eat, what sorts of clothes to wear — there are rules in the Bible about those that we don't observe today."The Bible tells us about how to treat other human beings, and that's certainly the great message of Jesus, to include the unincluded."
