The chief executive of Terrence Higgins Trust, Nick Partridge, is appearing in 'A Picture of Health', a photographic exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery which runs from next week.

The exhibition which runs from June 6 to September 10 2006 aims to profile some of the outstanding men and women who have shaped healthcare at the beginning of the 21st century and features NHS leaders, clinicians and Government policy advisors as well as campaigners from the voluntary sector.

The launch of the exhibition is on June 5th, the 25th anniversary of the first medical report of AIDS.

Mr Partridge said "I was delighted to be asked to take part in 'A Picture of Health'. The exhibition illustrates the wide diversity of people involved in shaping healthcare in the UK.

"It highlights the contribution made not only by health professionals but also by patients, the voluntary sector and the general public."

Other individuals profiled in the exhibition include Claire Rayner, Lord Winston, Sir Iain Chalmers, the founder of the Cochrane Collaboration and Marjorie Wallace, Founder and Chief Executive of SANE.
