Animal rights go gay
A gay animal rights campaigner bared his human flesh yesterday to stop people eating animals.
Mike Brazell, a member of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), stood kissing his partner, Christopher McDonough, dressed in a Navy cap and boxer shorts in Washington under a banner declaring "Vegetarians Make Better Lovers."
It is part of PETA's Gay Make Out Tour campaign to encourage people to stop eating animals claiming it's cruel and bad for human health due to levels of cholesterol and fat.
Mr Brazell, a former Navy recruit, equated the meat industry with the military services don't ask don't tell policy of gay recruits due to it's secretive nature.
He said: "What could be more of a turn-on than snuggling up to someone who's both passionate and compassionate?"
