Channel 4 rapped over lesbian sex ad
Channel 4 has been criticised after broadcasting an advert showing lesbian sex and nudity.
The E4 trailer for sister channel More4, featured topless women in thongs kissing and touching each other.
Although it was shown after midnight, the Ofcom media watchdog said it should have carried a warning.
The regulator upheld a complaint that the broadcast was offensive with "demeaning content."
A Channel 4 spokesman said the "gentle and humorous" advert was shown after considering the time and likely audience.
Meanwhile hit reality TV show, Big Brother, starts this week on the channel, with a gay muscleman rumoured to be one of the housemates.
