Gay star George Michael has been caught sleeping at the wheel of his car again, according to reports.

A witness claims the singer slept through four traffic light changes in Highgate, London, and was awoken when the driver tapped on his window.

He then allegedly drove off, hitting a central reservation and a bollard on the way.

The driver told the News of The World, ""He was sweating heavily and had his iPod on.

"That's probably why he didn't hear all the angry tooting behind him. He got going again, but was weaving all over the place. Then he hit a bollard. I doubt he even noticed it. He looked wasted. He just drove on."

Michael was cleared following allegations that he caused a three car smash last month.

The star was questioned by police after witnesses claimed they saw the artist hit a grey Ford Fiesta on Easter Sunday and then drive off, hitting a white Peugeot and green Rover on the way.
