		<description>	This is NOT a hate crime. To suggest otherwise is to belittle those who have genuinely been victims of hate crimes. I am not seeking to defend the man&#039;s actions and what he did was unquestionably uncalled for and offensive and I am also not implying that thjere should have been no response. However, to suggest that because someone spat at you and flciked a cigarette butt at you is justification for attempted murder is insulting to the intelligence of every LGBT person. What kind of sick, flawed logic is this? What this man did was wrong. What these women did in response was worse and there is no politically correct spin that can legitimize their response.
