The First Amendment US constitution: Freedom of speech.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

I would of thought these charges go against Dan Choi's first amendment right to freedom of speech and expression. I hope he sues the government. And what is Obama doing looking the other way why this is going on. Yesterday Obama was having lunch with LGBT leaders and today he is stabbing them all in the back.

History will judge Dan very differently. Of that I am certain. And he should take pride in the fact that he has done more than any other single person to expose DADT for the nonsense it is.

Lieutenant Dan Coi…The Movie, I hope they do. I forget the Lesbian's name now, but a Movie was made of her case.

the "freedom" to love is obviously not 1 of the freedoms US soldiers are fighting for…in fact, when even that basic freedom is denied why would anyone seriously believe that the military really is interested in "fighting for freedom" at all?

I find it sad that we are still even having to read stories like this. How is it possible that such a backwards piece of legislation from another era, which clearly advocates homophobic discrimination, is still in existance? Come on, America! Catch up!
