It has everything to so with GAY news, Peter. Rennie was head of LGBT youth scotland. You aren't suggesting gay readers should be protected from the facts, are you? By wanting to hide the truth anyone would think you are implying the Vatican has a point… I hope not.

This has nothing to do with GAY news. Even including it in the new information continues to give air to the sick belief – still pushed by the Vatican and other extreme anti-social groups- that gays have anything whatsoever to do with paedophiles.

J. Mathews, where did you read that some of the ring are straight? Similarly, the majority of gay people aren't paedophiles either. I find it odd that Pink News hasn't mentioned the "straight" involvement in this abominable crime.

It's a gay story because it features a gay man who touched boys.
What's worse is he was the driving force of LGBT Youth Scotland.

So this story is unfortunatley ABOUT a gay man who was a paedo. Not much but the truth there.

I understand the comments above, re the gay guy giving cannon fodder to the religious bigots. But, some of the paedophile ring were straight – does that mean that all straight men are paedophiles?? Of course not.

The Christian disease of pedophilia is spreading.

Although it seems that none of the accused is a priest or pastor, the examples of criminality by pedophile priests and pastors had to be a key factor in abetting their psychopathic illness.

PinkNews errs when it claims that this terrifying group “… is believed to be Scotland's biggest paedophile network.” That would be the roman catholic cult. The editors can correct their mistake by filing this story under “Religion”.

Just what we need, a reinforcement of what the catholic cult, among others uses as ammunition pandering to fear and and hate mongering against LGBT people….paedophilia = "homosexuality". Its also at the core of opposition to same-sex marriage.

James Rennie in particular should be strung up, as the head of LGBT Youth Scotland he was in a responsible position and he abused that and played into the bigots' stereotype of all gay men being paedoscum.
