I'm delighted. My partner is Swedish and it amazes me how liberal they are in Sweden with regards to their open laws for homosexuals and same sex pertnerships. If only Ireland and the Uk and the rest of the world follow in their footsteps!

Loud applause for the Church of Sweden. It's things like this which make me proud to be a Lutheran. God bless Bishop Brunne in her new ministry. Being a bishop is not an easy job.

The Bishop of Stockholm a Gay person. Splendid, splendid I say! 413 votes and 365 against. The more Gay Christians in positions of substance can only be great for Gays in the Church genrally.
