It's just some attention-seeking kid trying to be provocative. He doesn't even want to be a girl, so it's not as if he trans tendencies. It would have been more constructive to stand as prom king and thus demonstrate that there are different kinds of men in this world who are all of equal value. Missed opportunity and yet more fodder for those that don't understand what being gay is. This isn't about homosexuality or even gender issues.
