Aneela,

I think its wrong that you want to take this to a personal level, she's not posting stuff about you here.

I would imagine that its the clients who are making requests to Gamma on the type of person they want. Obviously in the tough times that is the private aviation industry Gamma, not wanting to deter business are going to adhere to their client requests and put these demands on to their employment procedures. I bet the standard charters that Gamma offers use the men and not the specific client flights.

I would imagine that this sort of thing goes on all over the world, not just in aviation. Sir Alan Sugar receptionist that answers the phone and sends them into the boardroom for example. Her brain is quite clearly being put to good use.

There have been many cases like this and will be in the future. I dont know lexi as you refer to her, but this is probably one person making a stand, one person who has had enough.

However this has probably had an adverse affect for Gamma which may have seen an increase in enquiries from such clients who think you can get them what they want?

Aneela, It is clear that you work for Gama and have a big issue with the truth, perhaps you are Mr Wright considering the amount of language that you are using?

Fact - Miss Proud was Ms Quinn’s boss – just because they both had Geordie accents does it make them long standing friends. Is Wayne Rooney friends with Paul O’Grady??

Miss Proud was made to sack Ms Quinn only hours after Ms Quinn complained of bullying and being sexually harassed by Captain Murray – a close friend to the owner Mr Khalek I would like to point out. Ms Quinn should did not raise her case for being sacked early enough and lapsed after 3 months. The sexual harassment was her word against his and was therefore on evidence Ms Quinn lost the case – she really should have kept those text messages!

Fact –Ms Proud never asked any of her colleagues or ex colleagues from Gama to be witnesses – there was no need for this.

Fact – There is one male Flight Attendant working for Gama. A very professional gentleman who is ex RAF royal fleet and married. The company knew he was married before he was offered a full time role with the company. The other male flight attendant (also a friend to the owner Mr Khalek) and who was divorced left the company some time ago.

Aneela – you are aware that Ms Proud provided the tribunal with a recording of a meeting which took place between herself and Mr Khalek. If I may use a quote from the recording “MK (Marwan Khalek) – because you know, not for the record, because they have this perception that they are all gay or whatever and just don’t want them, that’s not for me to decide and that’s not for the minutes, but that’s my perception of why,” now what would you like to say about that? I am sure once the case has been decided Ms Proud will be more than happy to hand over the full recording to a newspaper to listen to the transcript themselves.

Ms Proud was forced to leave a job, she is now standing up the ‘Big Boys’ and has a great deal of people behind her – so what if she is trying to make something of herself. At least she has not decided to claim from the government. Ms Proud is setting up an online dating site and welcomes the gay community to join www.arrangemeadate.com If she wishes to audition for a part on Loose Women – so what? If you are interesting in supporting Lexi on this then please do join the facebook group “Make Lexi a loose Women” http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=151492090642&ref=ts

PS – Really looking forward to Aneela cutting the cord and allowing Lexi to move on with her life!

I really wish that the Quinn tribunal report was in the public domain already, then we can see the EXACT legal "loopholes" that Andy reckons were there, or conversely maybe it would quite clearly show that there wasn't any "loophole" rather that the Chairman might, allegedly of course, have said that ALL of the evidence given was very unreliable (but the press weren’t there to hear that as it wasn’t the morning of the first day). That would be not bad going when the only people giving evidence were Quinn and Ms Proud, a long standing acquaintance of Quinn's from her days in Newcastle I believe, giving that evidence.

I love the way you all believe wholeheartedly what is reported in the papers, which is based on a PA journo sitting in the tribunal for the morning session on the first day, never reappearing again during the next two and so all the detail and fact that subsequently emerges never gets into the paper (though if I were Editor why should it, sex sells, detail doesn’t) - as I say, the first morning session, so those bits in between, which make the story very interesting from a paper selling point of view, are filled in by, funnily enough, paper selling journalists. Next you'll be telling me that you believe Royal Bank of Scotland is run by the world's finest business minds, which is what the papers were saying last summer too.

Oh, and, again of course allegedly, Quinn declined the chance to give evidence for Ms Proud in her tribunal. Sour grapes anyone...? I know you’re all going to find this hard to believe, but there are two sides to every story - Gama already employs male cabin crew who are f*cking good at their jobs, I KNOW – MEN! What is the world coming to, a MALE FLIGHT ATTENDANT! Who'd have thought it!(who are just as f*cked off with these claims (given that they aren't actually supposed to exist in the company) as the rest of her former colleagues are) as well as cabin crew ranging in age up to, well, that wouldn't be very fair, but let's just say, they are children of the 1950's - but where's the fun in reporting fact eh!? (I await Andy telling me that I'm lying now - it's an easy response, but you can’t ignore the FACT that there are male cabin crew in the company RIGHT NOW, AND WERE WHEN LEXI WORKED WITH US unless we’re all seeing things...)

Please indulge me here. Just for a moment, one moment, allow yourself to consider that if the fact that Mrs Proud alleges that Gama has a policy of no male, straight, under 30, size 12 or less and single when in fact the vast majority of the cabin crew who are already employed and whom Lexi herself hired don't tick all of those boxes, then maybe, just maybe, some of the other claims might not be true either? Cor, that’s just impossible to imagine isn’t it!

Can't help thinking that you'll all ignore the possibility of another side to the situation being possible and will leave you to shout, stamp, hang, draw and quarter the company based on the claims of one individual - who has already contradicted herself (to us, her former colleagues if no-one else) by claiming the company had a discriminative policy in place when it's clearly f*cking obvious that it didn't have (as she “managed” (well, tried...) and appointed people herself who weren’t in the confines of the policy that she says was there). I work with a diverse, friendly, nice bunch of people who don't recognise the company that the papers are seeking to portray from the claims being made in the tribunal - and I think I speak for all of us when I say we're all a little bit tired and bored of Lexi now and wish she could cut the cord and move on with her life.

Anyway, let’s move on and concentrate on the future. I think we should all continue Lexi’s plan for TV and internet domination, “Arrange me a Marriage” simply wasn’t enough, we want “Loose Women” too! For f*ck’s sake, and you thought Jane Macdonald was a crusty, boorish old northerner... I think a TV project with a competition would be good, maybe a car as a prize? Maybe we could get Harrods or someone like that to sponsor it, make it a bit more classy? We’ll have to put a bit of planning in this one though.................................................

Before I read the article I just KNEW when I saw the headline that the manager was going to be of asian/arab origin. Sadly, the people who still have these strong homophobic attitudes in the UK tend to be muslim. I think as the muslim population increases in this country we will see further incidents of this kind (or worse) unless tough action is taken on such homophobia. :(

Alireza Ittehedeh... Sounds like a typical muslim name to me. Sounds like typically muslim misogynistic/homophobic attitudes too. I'm sure he feels much closer to Mohammed when he's eyeing over the hemlines of young girls.

(Asking a muslim to explain Mohammed having sex with a nine year old is a good conversation starter, I find.)

Maybe, just maybe ( ;-) ) there are two sides to the story and the papers have, so far, only picked up on the one side...
Anyone else want to (alledgedly) promote their new internet venture following a failed TV appearance? Ahem.
