		<description>And you can bet if this was about people fleeing oppressive regimes based on their religion, there would be no deportations for fear of a backlash by religious groups at home.  Of course there is homophobia in the Home Office, no matter who occupies number 10 Downing Street.   Even if there is a sudden policy change, you can bet the next government will face opposition and possible and probably overturn it.  Xenophobia and homophobia are not confined to any one party but we&#039;ll find more in the Tory party make no mistake about that.  The Canadians will do more about this than we will.</description>
