Of course there is homophobia in the Home Office, no matter who occupies number 10 Downing Street. Even if there is a sudden policy change, you can bet the next government will face opposition and possible and probably overturn it. Xenophobia and homophobia are not confined to any one party but we'll find more in the Tory party make no mistake about that. The Canadians will do more about this than we will.
