A contestant on Sir Alan Sugar's TV show, "The Apprentice," has been outed by a British tabloid.

Ruth Badger, a favourite to win a contract with Sir Alan's company at the end of the BBC2 competition, is reportedly a lesbian and is divorcing her husband, Ian.

A source told the Sun, "Ian told people their marriage was over for a while when they officially split, he told close family Ruth was gay and that he'd known for a while.

"I don't know if Ruth is dating anyone now, but she's moved to Manchester to start a new life, while Ian has moved in with his new girlfriend,"

Sales manager, Ms Badger, who calls her rivals "idle toffs," is in the last seven vying for the six figure salary job.

So what if Ms Badger is gay? Her sexuality makes no difference to her suitability for the job.
