Iris, I think the "signs of hatred" he mentioned are very likely to be those b-stards, Westboro Baptist Church, again. They were planning on picketing The Oscars, so it must have been them. America needs to get a grip and start dealing with these people and their incitement of hatred. It's disgusting.

I think this was well-deserved. I've not been a fan of Sean Penn, but his portrayal of Harvey Milk was excellent.
And is he saying that people were holding up anti-gay signs? :O Are this people obsessed or do they have to have someone or something to hate in order to function?
