Lyall – you make a good point and I can see what you're driving at. However, the Phelps clan have a habit of screwing up other people's private funerals. To let them get away with that just to put off a few bigots is a bit of a moral sticky wicket.

I think these people are good for Gay Rights. Think about it, what better way to make homophobes look silly than letting the world see this example of it? People will see them with their 'God Hates Fags' signs, and think…do I want to be associated with that?

And what is their beef with cigarettes anyway? Anybody would think God has lung cancer! ^.^

The Network's campaign officer, Jack Holroyde, has said that: "allowing these people entry into the UK would send a very clear message to bigots – that this country tolerates hatred against people based on their sexuality or gender preference. This is not an option."

i have read every comment and i find it great that there is so much support. i also do come to think if they went to oh lets say Iran or Irac and protested about what they are saying about the muslim faith would they be using there return tickets? i would love to see un uprising to picket there picket! see how they get on! i think "FAGS" ans well as the general siners they talk about would join forces agenst them. also if they come over and say things like this about HRH Queen Elizabeth II could this not be conciderd as treason? im also a bit disturber that there has been no ban to stop them from entering our country by the queen or her government! these people should stick to there own country! if they come over here as alot have said we should revoult agenst them!

Oi Spitz – you asked the question How many straight children have been molested and murdered by homosexuals – I am sure there have been a damned site more been molested by Catholic priests and yet you seem to let them get away with it without an repercussions. I say ban catholasisms!

By the way – being a homosexual does NOT make you a paedophile although you being someone who believes the writings in a book of fiction might not have known that.

I also hope that you are not married, wear man made fabric, allow women into your church, do ANY work on a Sunday, make regular animal sacrifies, etc., etc as these are also referred to in the old testiment and if are/are not doing these then you will of course be joining us in hell.

One final point – why should I be victimised by a religious group that I do not recognise (yes thats right, shock and horror I do not believe in a creator god!)
