An insurance firm famous for telling people to save for a rainy day is threatening to sack one of its employees after discovering what she gets up to in her spare time.

Michelle Batowski, a customer advisor at Legal General, is facing a disciplinary hearing after workmates found out she had appeared on a lesbian porn show.

Her work was revealed after a colleague identified the award winning married worker on a website.

Ms Batowski, who is in charge of eight staff at the LG head offices in Cardiff, will attend a disciplinary hearing next week, she told The People, "I have nothing to be ashamed of.

"I have always given my all to the job which I think has been reflected in my awards.

"I don't want to lose my job but at the same time I have a right to do other things outside work."

She got into modelling after suffering from stress and sent pictures taken by her husband, Nikolai, to the site and a men's magazine

A spokesman for LG said: "If employees wish to undertake additional part-time work, our contract stipulates they need to obtain consent from their manager. In this instance, the consent was neither requested nor granted."
