It is with greatness dismay and disgrace to note that the pastor has to announce that he has been struggling with same sex attraction.indeed homosexuality is innate not acquired, i suggest that he leave pastoring and embrace his sexuality .

Seems to me that it's time for Haggard to put his money where his mouth is (wait, that evokes an,er, interesting image.) Anyway, I find it ironic that he was the head of something called New Life but couldn't reconcile his past. Tsk, tsk. Haggard, when you choose to have a life partner, let's see what discrimination you have to face at the hands of people like you. What's the Big Deal about Ted Haggard? He's more to be pitied than blamed. He's lost everything for a bit of kinky sex. A UK Member of Parlument was found with three rent-boys in his bed, he lost everything too. Boy George the faded Pop-Singer handcuffed a male escort to his bed. Boy George is in Jail now, how dum is that?

Or to put it another way, "I'm gay, and continue to struggle from time to time with bigoted evangelical dogma".
There – fixed it for you Ted. If a top evangelist can't pray out the gay, that speaks volumes.
Please do yourself and everyone else a favour and just embrace your gay side, cause it's not about to be wished away. You're simply in the wrong profession.

What type of mental illness is this guy suffering from that he would chose to be a member of a facist cult which hates him because he is gay; when he is gay himself. It seems obvious he's a masochistic self-hater.
