I was spat at myself at Pride in Belfast in 2007 when I challenged a man for telling his six year old son that all gay people where perverts.  People might think that Northern Ireland&#039;s days of prejudice are behind them, but I can tell you from personal experience that they have just been directed in a new direction.  Homophobic attacks and attacks on women are rising at an alaming rate, and we have openly homophobic politicians serving in &#039;our&#039; government.  The &#039;Trouble&#039;s&#039; for some may be past, but for many, many others, they are still definately with us.</description>
