Brokeback Mountain pushed in anti gay areas
An online guerrilla marketing group has started a campaign to place Brokeback Mountain DVDs in anti gay areas.
The Ultimate Brokeback Forum is aiming to get the gay cowboy movie into 2000 libraries in rural America and into anti gay countries such as the Bahamas.
Forum organiser, Dave Cullen, said: "The ad campaign ignited a wealth of enthusiasm to make a difference, It has been an incredible outpouring of Internet activism, and it is all due to Brokeback Mountain."
Over 200 Canadian libraries have already signed up to the 2000 DVDs to Libraries campaign, but some have rejected the film due to policy restrictions.
The award winning film is out on DVD now.
