At least they've started to say '..as far as I know.' Encouraging silence and invisibility in the sport just entrenches its moronically sexist, racist and homophobic culture. A sport characterised at times by great physical skill and beautiful men is marred by these ugly features. They were certainly what put me off it completely at school, and I'm sure legions of other gay men have gone through the same experience.
