10:55 AM — A lesbian couple in Australia have revealed that they are expecting quintuplets - against odds of one in 60 million. Melissa Keevers, 27, and Rosemary Nolan, 21, already have a one-year-old daughter, Lilly, through donor insemination.

Indonesian minister attacked for AIDS comments on Twitter 4
11:00 AM — The Indonesian information minister has been criticised for making anti-gay statements and jokes about AIDS on Twitter. Tifatul Sembiring, who is also a member of the National AIDS Commission, made the remarks shortly after Jakarta's gay film festival was disrupted by ant-gay protesters.

Almost half of HIV-positive gay men unaware, US study says 9
11:02 AM — A US study estimates that almost half of HIV-positive gay and bisexual men are unaware they are infected. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) study also suggested that one in five of gay men in cities most affected by HIV have the virus.

London clinic warns of ‘party drug’ addiction among gay men 10
12:11 PM — A London clinic set up to treat addiction to 'party drugs' says the majority of its patients are young gay men. Dr James Bell, head of the Party Drugs Clinic at the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, said most of his clinic's patients were "young, well-educated, professional gay men".

Canadian judge rules in favour of blood service which bans gay men 14
5:05 PM — A Canadian judge has ruled that a blood donation service has the right to bar gay men. Canadian Blood Services sued 36-year-old gay man Kyle Freeman for negligent representation after he admitted lying about his sexual orientation on blood donation forms.
HIV infections in France ’200 times higher in gay men’ 17
4:28 PM — A study published today suggests that rates of HIV in France are 200 times higher in gay and bisexual men than in heterosexuals.
Gay health charity to release guide to safer cruising 16
1:53 PM — The gay men's health charity GMFA is producing a guide to cruising for sex. According to the charity, the booklet will help gay men "develop their cruising skills and make decisions that will protect themselves and their partners when cruising".
