    5:24 PM — Eighties pin-up Sam Fox has revealed that she is having rabies treatment after she was bitten by a stray cat on holiday. The star, 44, was staying on the island of Koh Samui with her partner Myra Stratton when the animal attacked her.

    11:45 AM — ITV soap Coronation Street will see an explicit homophobic storyline this autumn for its 50th anniversary. The plot will reportedly use offensive anti-gay language, with gays and lesbians branded "degenerates" and "unnatural" by one character.

    12:05 AM — This new play by Drew Pautz begins with a contemporary argument and one familiar to the readers of this publication; how to reconcile the evangelical beliefs of African Anglicans and the more tolerant approach made by the Church of England to the subject of homosexuality. Set at a hotel in Africa (the country is not specified), bishops from across the globe are meeting to determine the approach of the Anglican Communion to this live issue.

    London Pride afterparties

    Pride pre and afterparties are taking place across London

    5:08 PM — After tomorrow's London Pride parade, speeches and acts, a number of afterparties are taking place across the capital. The official afterparty is Liberation at Koko in Camden, where the crowd will be entertained by fire-breathing, stilt-walking drag queens, dancers, acrobats and a surprise PA.

    6:12 PM — A lesbian has opened India's first online gay bookstore. Queer Ink, run by Shobhna Kumar, is based in Malad and will sell around 200 titles ranging from novels and academic texts to children's books.

    5:17 PM — Gay rights charity Stonewall raised more than £10,000 last week at its annual summer party. The money, raised by more than 350 guests, is to go towards the organisation's Education For All campaign, which tackles homophobic bullying in schools.

    Pride crowds in Soho ‘could be restricted’ 7

    No Pride events will be held in Soho

    6:13 PM — The number of revellers in Soho during London Pride could still be restricted, despite the festival pulling all official attractions out of the area. London Pride is to be held on Saturday July 3rd but festival organisers have been forced to withdraw all official events from Soho due to health and safety concerns.
