Man hit in the face with a bottle in homophobic attack in Edinburgh
12:49 PM — A man has been hit in the face with a bottle in Edinburgh in what police are treating as a homophobic attack. The 27-year-old man had been at CC Blooms, a gay bar in the city centre, before the attack, which occurred just after 1am on Sunday morning.

Grindr to fight against Turkish court ban 1
6:57 PM — Popular gay dating app Grindr, which was banned by a Turkish court last week, is set to fight against the ban and get back online. The company has announced that it is working with Kaos GL, a Turkish gay-rights organisation, and campaigning group All Out to launch a petition to force the Turkish government to rescind the ban.
