Police appeal after toilet fire at Brighton Pride 3
3:22 PM — An arson attack on portable toilets at Brighton Pride caused £30,000 worth of damage. The fire was started at the block of toilets at the north side of the park near Preston Park Avenue at around 10pm on Saturday August 7th.

Graham Norton to host Manchester Pride fundraising dinner 2

Brighton Pride asks revellers to dig deep for donations 1
4:13 PM — Brighton Pride will be held this Saturday and organisers are asking revellers to help keep the festival free by donating money. The event, which has been running since 1992, has been plagued by financial problems and organisers hope to raise £40,000 on the day.

Gay MP speaks at Leeds Pride 1
1:10 PM — Newly-elected Tory MP for Pudsey Stuart Andrew was one of the speakers at Leeds Pride on Sunday. Mr Andrew told crowds at the city's Millennium Square that the new coalition government was committed to tackling homophobic bullying and led the party's gay group LGBTory in the parade.

5:03 PM — Two thousand people marched in Jerusalem Pride's parade yesterday despite anti-gay protests. The march was described by onlookers as "subdued", as it lacked the usual colour, noise and vibrant costumes associated with Pride.
First Liverpool Pride to remember murdered gay teen Michael Causer 3
10:30 AM — Liverpool's first Pride celebration is to hold a vigil next week to remember Michael Causer, the gay teenager who was murdered in the city two years ago. Michael, an 18-year-old hairdresser, died in hospital in August 2008 after being punched and kicked.

Religious protests permitted at Belfast Pride 7
11:33 AM — Belfast's Parades Commission has said that no restrictions will be placed on protests against the city's Pride march. The event, expected to attract up to 15,000 people, will be held on Saturday July 31st and is targeted every year by anti-gay demonstrators from Sandown Free Presbyterian Church.
