    7:05 PM — The LGBT community of Manchester have celebrated the 21st Manchester pride with hundreds of thousands lining the streets with rainbow flags and 'I Love MCR' banners supporting the fightback after the riots that broke out in the city earlier this month.

    2:47 PM — The city council of Sao Paulo, Brazil, has passed a measure calling for an annual Heterosexual Pride Day to be celebrated each December. City alderman Carlos Apolinario, who authored the legislation, said the idea is "not anti-gay but a protest against the privileges the gay community enjoys".
