Football Association begins research on homophobia in sport 2
4:40 PM — The FA has started to conduct research in an attempt to crack down on gender discrimination and homophobia. To do this, they have recruited two researchers to find out more about the football experience of people from gay, lesbian and bi-sexual communities.
Gay humanists denounce London Christian “gay cure” conference 96
2:44 PM — The Gay and Lesbian Humanist Association (GALHA) has denounced a two day "gay cure" conference that is being held in London this weekend. The event organised by the evangelical Anglican Mainstream Organisation to hold a two-day anti-gay "Sex and the City" conference at a "secret location" in London on April 24 and 25.
Police appeal after London homophobic attack
2:35 PM — The Metropolitan Police are hunting a group of teenagers who carried out what is believed to be a homophobic attack on two men walking on Beryl Road, Fullham, West London earlier this month.

11:55 AM — Yankel Feather, one of the most exuberant gay characters of Liverpool's 1960s art scene has died at age 88. Feather had been suffering from cancer for some time.

11:01 AM — Artist Paul Harfleet has planted a flower in tribute of murdered Liverpool gay teenager Michael Causer. Eighteen-year-old Michael, who worked as a hairdresser in Liverpool, was attacked at the Huyton home of his friend Michael Binsteed's grandmother.
