Thousands celebrate EuroPride as anti-gay protesters line the route 8
6:46 PM — Approximately 10,000 people took to the streets of Warsaw today to celebrate EuroPride 2010. Anti-gay protesters held up the parade several times, as marchers waited in 35° Celsius heat.

6:42 PM — Gay Conservative MP Nick Herbert and British ambassador Ric Todd spoke to PinkNews.co.uk today at Warsaw's EuroPride. Mr Herbert and Mr Todd rode on the Fundacja Równości (Equality Foundation) truck during the parade, which was attended by approximately 10,000 people.

Stonewall sponsors Black Pride 22
1:39 PM — Gay rights charity Stonewall has become a main sponsor of UK Black Pride. The festival, to be held on Saturday August 14th, is the UK's biggest celebration of African, Asian, Caribbean, Middle Eastern and Latin American LGBT people and their friends.

Thousands enjoy Bournemouth’s Wild West-themed Pride 1
5:18 PM — Thousands of people enjoyed the four-day Pride celebrations and parade in Bournemouth last week. The event, named Bourne Free, started in 2004 and had a Wild West theme this year.
Small Muslim protest fails to hinder Derby Pride 19
4:38 PM — The third Derby Pride festival proceeded peacefully this weekend despite a small group of Muslim protesters. The 14-strong group held up placards urging marchers to change their lives but were largely drowned out by the colourful parade.

New campaign urges gay men in relationships to ‘play it safe’ 1
4:16 PM — The Terrence Higgins Trust has launched a new HIV-prevention campaign aimed at gay men who are in long-term relationships. The campaign, which will appear in selcted gay press and on posters and postcards, is part of the Pan-London HIV Prevention Partnership (PLHPP) and seeks to address the issue of safe sex within gay male relationships.

3:38 PM — The Scottish Adoption agency has told gay couples not to be put off by the "very negative publicity" surrounding the issue of same-sex coulples adopting children. The publicity in question is believed to relate to the complaints of the grandparents of two Edinburgh-based children who were adopted by a gay couple.
New York City celebrates 41st annual pride 2
12:33 PM — New York City was awash with marchers and revellers in their thousands yesterday, all celebrating the Big Apple's 41st annual gay pride event. One of the parade's grand marshalls was Constance McMillen, the Mississippi teenager who fought with her high school to be allowed to attend the senior prom with her girlfriend.

Pride London celebrations in Soho to take place after all 8
4:34 PM — Pride London have announced that the Soho street party will now go ahead next Saturday 3 July. Last week, the charity had been forced to cancel any Soho celebrations after problems negotiating licensing and the threat of potential disruptions relating to the extensive Crossrail roadworks currently taking place in central London.
Sofia Pride in Bulgaria Tomorrow 3
3:10 PM — Bulgaria's capital city, Sofia, will host their third pride parade tomorrow, Saturday 26 June. The event will mark the culmination of a week of Pride-related events, including photographic exhibitions, a number of social and cultural events and a conference on hate crime which included a call for such crimes against LGBT people to be criminalised in Bulgaria. Statements of support have come from both the British and Norwegian ambassadors.
