If being a part-time carer for her deranged mum Jean wasn't enough to drive her to drink, she's got a psychopath for a brother and has also managed to sleep with her husband's father.
EastEnders: Jim's homecoming upsets Dot
Emotions are running high in the Branning household this week as ailing OAP Jim Branning makes a dramatic return home after more than a year away. Since suffering a stroke last summer the frail pensioner has been resting up in a nursing home after Dot decided she couldn't cope with him by herself. Although he has made a good recovery the stroke has robbed him of his speech and he is confined to a wheelchair.
EastEnders: Phil reveals some shocking home truths
Family, or "fam-lee" as the residents of Albert Square would say, is the focus of this week's event in Walford. First off, Peggy and Archie's rather sudden decision to tie the knot sparks tension within the Mitchell camp as Ronnie suspect's her dad's true motives. Needless to say, this doesn't sit too well with Peggy who is growing tired of Ronnie's drunken rants about how evil her father is. Aren't we all?
EastEnders: Roxy and Sean announce shock wedding
Last week Roxy fled hundreds of miles away to Devon to escape the clutches of psychotic lunatic Sean. This week, they’re getting married. Yes you read that correctly. Next week, it will probably be: Sean who? Such is the fickle nature of glamour-puss Roxy Mitchell.
EastEnders: Max and Jack compete for Tanya
The gloves are off this week for Max and Jack, as the brothers fight tooth and nail over Walford bombshell Tanya. The increasingly confusing love triangle between Jack, Tanya and Max has now morphed into a love square, as Max uses Ronnie to get back at Tanya. Why Max still loves the woman who once tried to murder him is anybody's guess.
EastEnders Spoilers: Roxy moves in with Sean
Albert Square is awash with problems this week. Resident party girl Roxy Mitchell returns to Walford having rekindled her romance with bad boy Sean Slater, much to Ronnie's horror.

Ronnie and Peggy take the road trip from hell this week as they leave Albert Square in search of wayward mum-to-be Roxy who has done a runner. Ronnie is hell-bent on dragging her good-for-nothing sister back to Walford to grow up and be a responsible mother, while Peggy sees the journey as an opportunity to break down Ronnie’s emotional walls. Needless to say it’s a recipe for disaster.

In Albert Square people don’t just come and go – they make dramatic exits in car crashes, explosions, murders and fights. Sometimes these are matched by an even more dramatic return. As if to illustrate the point, local hard-man Sean Slater makes a shocking return to the Vic this week, drenched from head to toe in blood.
