12:00 AM — A tabloid newspaper has today claimed that two leading Premiership footballers are bisexual and have engaged in a gay orgy.The News of the World, said that the footballers who can not be named for legal reasons were caught on camera in an orgy with well known music industry figure.The newspaper claims that one player engaged in sexual acts using a mobile phone as a sex toy.

12:00 AM — Britain's only gay flamingos Carlos and Fernando, are celebrating their fifth anniversary together with their adopted children at Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust in Gloucestershire.The pair surprised staff at the wildlife park after they came out five years ago and began to engage in a series of complex mating rituals. The pink birds have been inseparable ever since and have even raised chicks together after they stole eggs from neighbouring straight couples.

12:00 AM — The Advertising Standards Authority has ruled that an advert for Dolce Gabbana that features two men kissing is suitable for broadcast at any time.The television advertisement for DG watches showed various brief shots of people in cafes, restaurants and on a dance floor. In each shot, they were wearing two DG watches. In the final scene, a man loading groceries into his car gave one of his watches to a second man, after which they kissed briefly on the lips.

Man may loose his sight after homophobic attack 1
12:00 AM — A gay man from County Donegal, Northern Ireland has been told that he may loose the sight in one eye after being beaten in a suspected homophobic attack.The unnamed 20-year-old, was attacked by two men in as he walked along a quiet street on Sunday.The attackers punched the man on the face and knocked him to the ground. He is now recuperating in hospital.

China bans Brokeback Mountain 5
12:00 AM — The critically acclaimed film of gay cowboys, Brokeback Mountain has been banned by Chinese censors because they object to its homosexual content.The film is directed by Taiwanese director Ang Lee, who was the director of Oscar-winning film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.The national Xinhua News Agency claims that the "sensitive topic" of homosexuality has meant that the film is unsuitable for release within the communist country.

12:00 AM — The remains of a gay man from Notting Hill have been found next to a country lane in Luton, Bedfordshire.Alexandre Marques, 61, emigrated to London from Portugal in 1972 and disappeared from his bedsit in Notting Hill on Sunday 16th October 2005.Colleagues at the exclusive ARTS club in Mayfair reported him missing on October 21, after he failed to appear at work for five days.

Synagogue appoints gay rabbi five years after rejecting lesbian
12:00 AM — Finchley Reform Synagogue in north London has appointed an openly gay rabbi just five years after it rejected a lesbian Rabbi to be the community's spiritual head.The synagogue was embroiled in controversy following the proposal to appoint an openly lesbian Rabbi, Melina Carr in 2000. Her appointment was recommended by the synagogue's rabbinical committee but was vetoed by the community. The synagogue later apologised to Rabbi Carr for "unwarranted intrusion into aspects of her private life."
