THE RAIN, THE ABBEY, THE AUSSIEBUM HUNK!
Until you experience a real big noisy thunderstorm in Los Angeles you don’t realize that people here have no concept of that thing falling from the sky … THE RAIN!
This could have been a disaster movie made in Hollywood. Yesterday afternoon the sky suddenly turned dark (well it was already super cloudy all day long but it sound more dramatic like that right!?) So it became dark and then something that no one could image happened, it rained. Thankfully we were just entering our car parked on Sunset Boulevard and had the best seats to enjoy the action.
I have to say that the rain was torrential for about 5 minutes, so you have people in flip flops who can brave the rain like they don’t even realize what’s going on (Yes no matter how cold it can be here, the flip-floppers would rather die than wear shoes…) and the others on terraces and in front of the stores started to run like acid was falling on their head.
Then the lightening !!! Two HUGE lightenings, the sound was better than the best surround system. I am not making this up but we saw big strong men screaming louder than women almost pushing kids to be the first to enter any store …
Hopefully the rain stopped, which can seems ridiculous for the rest of the world but here an hour of rain like that and the Hills and their multi million dollar homes can turn into giant landslides.
While driving on Santa Monica, we have noticed the billboard for ‘The Abbey compilation’ it is a really nice ad … from Aussiebum! Do they really think that we were not going to notice that !? The aussiebum hunks are like the hottest male underwear models on hearth.

Sullivan: Obama should produce ad opposing Prop 8. “This is a core test of whether gay Americans should back Obama as enthusiastically as they have in the last month. And if black Americans are the critical bloc that helps kill civil rights for gays, that will not help deepen Obama’s governing coalition. It could tear it apart.”
