Businessmen, lawyers and Church fund challenge to gay adoption in Scotland

A CONSORTIUM of businessmen and professionals is believed to be funding a legal challenge to prevent a young brother and sister being adopted by two gay men, it emerged yesterday. The consortium, which reportedly also includes lawyers, approached the Catholic Church in Scotland last week. (Edinburgh) Cody Lavender, an American exchange student, has fallen to his death from a dormitory room window at the University of Edinburgh.

Police are investigating but say there is nothing to indicate foul play.
