UK Roman Catholic church-funded marriage agency backs gay and unmaried parents
Terry Prendergast, the chief executive of Marriage Care, claimed there is “no evidence” that children do better if they are brought up in a traditional two-parent family.
He claimed that those who live together out of wedlock are trying to lead good lives but find themselves “consigned to the dustbin” by the church.
His comments – to be made this weekend to Quest, a group of homosexual Catholics – go directly against the church’s teaching, which holds that homosexuality is sinful and that families should be based on the marriage of a man and a woman.
Mr Prendergast said: “We see, for example, that statistically children do best in a family where the adult relationship is steady, stable and loving – you should note here perhaps that I stress adult, not married, since there is no evidence that suggests that children do best with heterosexual couples.”
He claimed that God was present in the relationships of married, homosexual and cohabiting heterosexual relationships where there was “commitment, consent and covenant”.
He went on: “They want to live good lives according to the precepts of the Gospels. They are an advert for the Church, an advert that the Church often ignores or consigns to the wastebin.”

In UK politics, It’s Gay Gordon versus Camp David
GORDON Brown and David Cameron were last night locked in a bizarre and bitter battle for the GAY vote.
The PM and Conservative leader are desperate to win over the UK’s three million pink voters.
Two Cabinet ministers sprang into action to accuse the Tories of being anti-gay after new figures showed a rise in the number of gays planning to vote Tory.
Openly-gay Ben Bradshaw and Chris Bryant warned homosexuals and lesbians the Tories once persecuted them.
Culture Secretary Mr Bradshaw told the BBC: “A deep strain of homophobia still exists on the Conservative benches.” And Foreign Office minister Chris Bryant said: “If gays vote Tory they will rue the day very soon.”

Minister in Tory homophobia claim BBC News
Culture Secretary Ben Bradshaw has said “a deep strain of homophobia still exists on the Conservative benches”.
Mr Bradshaw, one of three gay men currently in the cabinet, made the comments as a new poll suggested more gay people were turning to the Tories.
Chris Bryant, another gay minister, said: “If gays vote Tory they will rue the day very soon.”
But Tory frontbencher Alan Duncan said the two men’s comments showed Labour was “actually the nasty party”.
Being seen to be more “gay friendly” has been a key part of David Cameron’s mission to decontaminate the Conservative Party brand and make it more acceptable to young, socially liberal voters.

Chris Bryant Reminds Us Why We Don’t Have a Gay Sex Site Account
Everybody, repeat after me: “There is no such thing as privacy on the Internet.” Want to keep something a secret or don’t want your Mom finding out about it? Here’s a hint: Do not put it on the Internet. Do not put it under a fake screename, do not try to disguise it and think you’ll cleverly avoid identification. Take it from someone who spends his days become an instant expert on personalities, subjects and issues– you can do wonders with a well-placed Google search. I know, you’re smarter than everyone else, nobody cares about you and you’re discreet, but I guarantee, someone will find you. See Chris Bryant Reminds Us Why We Don’t Have a Gay Sex Site Account
