Hanging Effigy of Sarah Palin Comes Down in West Hollywood, Obama Effigies Appear

After days of press coverage and pressure from neighbors, West Hollywood Mayor Jeffrey Prang and conservative forces across the nation, sheriff’s officials now say the West Hollywood homeowners who hung a mannequin made to resemble vice presidential candidate Gov. Sarah Palin in their front yard as part of a Halloween display have agreed to take the Palin effigy down. Now come reports that similar effigies of Barack Obama have begun appearing in other parts of the country.

First 90210, Now Melrose Place May Be Resuscitated

Catfights, big apartments, and beautiful roommates could soon be back on prime time — the CW network, which recently scored a ratings coup with a relaunch of Beverly Hills, 90210, is considering a redux of Melrose Place, according to Daily Variety.
