What happens if a vice presidential nominee shows up at Saturday Night Live — and nobody cares? Sure, people watched Sarah Palin — the best ratings SNL has seen in roughly 14 years. The show itself has been bad at drawing reliably strong figures, but people follow their favorite stars, and this week there were two (large) groups tuning in. But who won? And who was the joke really on?
