The Insignificant Debate: How Spin Trumped Authenticity

Tonight, vice-presidential contenders Gov. Sarah Palin and Sen. Joe Biden will square off in their first and only debate. But for all the hype surrounding the clash of the running mates, I can’t help but wonder if any of it matters. If what we’ve already seen in this election cycle is any indication, reaction to the VP debate will be lacking one important element: Authenticity.
