Protect Marriage – Yes on Prop 8 Campaign Releases Second …

The bigots behind Prop 8  have released a second television ad of the campaign ad and it is as full of lies as their first.

The ad features a young girl arriving home from school to show her mother a picture book that was read to her class by their teacher that day. The book, “King and King,” is about a prince marrying another prince, “and I can marry a princess” the girl says.

Then they start to lie:

“Proposition 8 protects our children from being taught in public schools about ‘same-sex marriage’ as has already happened in Massachusetts.”

But Prop 8 won’t forbid schools from using books like “King and King.” And there’s no sign in the legal record that the legalization of same gender marriage influenced the school’s decision to use tis award-winning book.

What do you expect from an ad paid for by Morons and the Knights of Columbus? Truth? Accuracy? Decency?
