Ever wondered why surrogates for the John McCain and Barack Obama campaigns always sound perfectly in sync no matter which channel you happen to flip to on any given day? Well, the answer is that campaign surrogates receive daily talking points to keep them from straying too far off-message in interviews. In an amusing mix-up today, the Obama campaign inadvertently released the pre-debate talking points for Barack Obama surrogates along with a press release this morning.
