Melissa Etheridge plans to legally marry her partner, Tammy Lynn Michaels, joining the list of celebrities with plans to tie the knot in response to California’s legalization of same-sex marriage. Etheridge made the announcement at Universal City’s Hard Rock Café, where she performed to launch the restaurant’s month-long breast cancer awareness program, according to Extra.
