As not-so-subtly hinted at last week by August Out cover boy Pete Wentz, Fall Out Boy just gave $50,000 to California’s No on 8 campaign, the effort to stop a state constitutional amendment that would overturn the legalization of same-sex marriage. Last week Wentz blogged, ‘There are a lot of causes out there — a lot of ‘good’ fights to be fought. I think proposition 8 is pretty lame — as many others do too."
