Court: Ga. transgender candidate didn’t mislead voters
Michelle Bruce, a transgender candidate for City Council in Riverdale, Ga., did not perpetrate “fraud” or “misconduct” on voters because of her gender identity, the Georgia Supreme Court has ruled in a suit filed by two of her opponents last year. The court let stand the results of the November election, in which Bruce was not re-elected. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (free registration) (10/6)
