California Takes Initiative on HIV Testing

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has signed a bill, authored by state assembly member Paul Krekorian, making California the first in the nation to require every health care service plan and health insurer to provide coverage for HIV antibody testing, regardless of whether the testing is related to a primary diagnosis.
