In an interview, Rep. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis., shares her thoughts on the upcoming elections, and how the results of the presidential as well as congressional races will affect issues important to LGBT people. Baldwin says a Democratic majority in both houses of Congress and a Democratic president could mean passage of an “inclusive” Employee Non-Discrimination Act, passage of The Matthew Shepard Law, expanding the federal definition of hate crimes and a repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act.
