What to Watch: Finn’s Girl

A film festival favorite, Dominique Cardona’s and Laurie Colbert’s lesbian themed Finn’s Girl tackles a host of issues. Death, breast cancer, abortion, single parenting, fertility and possibly dangerous fertility drugs. Sound like fun? That’s what you’re getting into if you watch Finn’s Girl. It manages to yank a story out of all those heavy-duty issues, but at times it feels like an episode of The L Word without the benefit of Alice’s charm.
