U.S. Eases Restrictions on HIV-Positive Visitors

In July President George W. Bush signed legislation which removed HIV from a list of diseases ‘of public health significance’ that effectively barred any person infected with HIV from entering the United States. Taking a cue from that move, the Department of Homeland security took steps today to make it even easier for HIV-positive visitors to enter the U.S.
