If the buzz words that came out of last week’s Democratic convention were ‘change’ and ‘hope,’ the Republicans’ answer on day two of their convention centered around the words ‘reform’ and ‘maverick,’ both of which were sprinkled liberally throughout the speeches given at the first full day of GOP convention festivities in St. Paul, Minnesota on Tuesday. While first lady Laura Bush defended her husband’s record, President George W. Bush rallied the GOP faithful behind John McCain.
