Former Beatles band mate Sir Paul McCartney is furious over claims in a new biography that John Lennon wanted a gay relationship with him. Lennon’s widow, Yoko Ono, is also angry over claims made in the book that Lennon desired a sexual relationship with McCartney and had fantasies about sleeping with his mother. Although McCartney and Ono agreed to be interviewed for Philip Norman‘s John Lennon: The Life, both are now reportedly ‘extremely angry and upset’ by the author’s portrayal of the legendary icon.
