Lance Armstrong May Leave Retirement for 2009 Tour de France

With seven yellow jerseys already to his credit, cycling legend Lance Armstrong could be looking for his eighth. Reports began swirling today that Armstrong may come out of retirement to compete in the 2009 Tour de France. Armstrong will reportedly race with the Astana team for five different road races. He will not receive a salary or any bonus money for these races. Those five races include the Amgen Tour of California, Paris-Nice, the Tour de Georgia, the Dauphine-Libere and the Tour de France.
