In a stunning turn of events, Sen. John McCain has announced that he will suspend his presidential campaign on Thursday and return to Washington to focus on the current economic crisis and bailout negotiations. The Republican presidential nominee also called for a postponement of Friday’s presidential debate and urged his opponent Barack Obama to join him in on Capitol Hill to hammer out the final details of a bi-partisan financial crisis bailout plan.
